Friends,
Today marks a special moment in the Jewish tradition; it's technically "new years eve," as tomorrow, we welcome the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah). We celebrate with sweet food (like this cinnamon honey challah monkey bread) and family. We also reflect upon resolutions, looking inward and outward over the next few weeks. In fact, next week, we spend a full 24 hours of fasting (Yom Kippur) to focus on introspection.
Though parting from food for a day is quite challenging, I choose to indulge in the challenge. Don't you agree that we never give ourselves the time to reflect and mentally hit the "reset" button? For all of us, no matter your tradition, I hope you'll take a moment—before the frenzy of holidays ensues—to reflect and reset. Together, we can make this the best season yet.
xo,
Cara
