Holiday Wreath DIY Wine Tags + My Holiday Pour

I’ve been seeking the holiday spirit this week and feel it’s only fair to add simple yet elevated touches to our more intimate celebration! One of my favorite DIY crafts for Christmas festivities, which I introduced during a holiday workshop five years ago, is the rosemary wreath wine tag. Adorable, right?

You truly only need sprigs of rosemary and 4-inch cuts of kitchen twine (or velvet ribbon, if you’re feeling fancy). Simply form a circle around each wine glass stem, and carefully tie a bow to hold the rosemary wreath in place. Loop a little piece of textured paper with a scripted name if you’d like to use this craft as a name tag (or help minimize confusion among the family!).

Now, what to pour? I’ve recently been introduced to Sangiacomo Family Wines, made from 100% certified sustainable grapes from the family's vineyards. These artisanal wines showcase cool climate Sonoma Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Third generation farmers, the Sangiacomo family has farmed in Sonoma since 1927. With over 50 years of grapegrowing experience, they bring passion and expertise to each and every bottle of wine.

Robert Roads, which I tasted this week, is amongst the most prestigious vineyards cultivated by the Sangiacomo family. Located at the base of Sonoma Mountain, this 130-acre ranch is exclusively Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with over 20 different clonal selection and rootstock combinations. I was fortunate to try the trio of Robert Roads wines to kick off our holiday weekend!
