The beauty of a dim sum/appetizer gathering is the freedom from a seat! And since a sit down set-up is not required for this affair, substitute traditional place cards with chopsticks tags. You’ll avoid confusion and create an instant sense of “place” for your party-goers.
To make a "place" card, write each guest's name with a permanent pen on the edge of provided aqua squares. Fold one half of the square over the other, and secure the edges with a piece of double-sided tape. Slide your chopsticks set through the loop, and display the chopsticks name-side-up on the coffee table right before supper.
